I've played a couple of times and I think there may be an error in the game. If I place down a bomb too early, before the wave really starts, it will just explode over and over in the same spot. To see this try initially loading the game and pressing space bar a couple of times. It doesn't happen consistently, but sometimes you end up with a bomb that just explores again and again...
